COVID-19 Safety Precautions, Waiver and Release 1.Parties. The parties to this Agreement are (i) the undersigned Participant and/or the Participant's parents or legal guardian(s), if Participant is under 18, all of whom are referred to in this Agreement,jointly and severally, as “Participant,” “I” or “my,” and (ii) Swirl Works LLC, its managers, members, employees, contractors and volunteers (“Swirl”).2.Safety Precautions. Although Swirl cannot guarantee that anyone who participates in an Event will not be exposed to COVID-19, I acknowledge that Swirl is taking the following extra precautions to help keep participants and instructors safe. In order to participate in an Event, I agree to take these precautions. 2.1Before I participate in an Event, I will seriously consider my own COVID-19 health risk factors and consult with my physician to determine if I can safely participate.2.2If, at any point within 14 days before the start of the Event, I experience any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or if I have been in close contact with anyone who has recently tested positive for COVID-19, I will transfer my Event registration to someone else or apply any fees for the Event to another Event.2.3I will take my temperature (or, if a child, have it taken) at the beginning of each day, prior to arrival at the Event. If my temperature is 100.4 F or higher, I will not participate in the Event and I will be issued a partial credit to be used for future Events. If Event leaders check in with me, I agree to answer truthfully if I am experiencing any flu-like or other COVID-19 symptoms. If so, I will be required to leave the Event and I will be issued a partial credit to be used for future Events.2.4I will bring and wear my own face mask or cloth face covering, as well as hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol).I will remove my face covering only when permitted by an Event leader.2.5I agree to cooperate with Event leaders, who will instruct participants how to maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet throughout the Event.I will maintain this distance from everyone, except for members of my household.2.6I will limit contact with shared surfaces and objects, and avoid coughing or sneezing on my hands or other people. I will: Cough and sneeze only into a bent elbow or disposable tissue (and throw away any used tissue in designated receptacles), and wash my hands after coughing or sneezing. I will avoid touching my eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. I will not share snacks, water bottles other supplies with anyone outside of my household, including my Event leader and other participants. 3.Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability and Indemnification Agreement. In order to participate in the Event, I, the undersigned,acknowledge and agree that:3.1Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and3.2I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF SWIRL or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and

3.3I, FOR MYSELF AND ON BEHALF OF MY HEIRS,ASSIGNS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES AND NEXT OF KIN, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SWIRL,ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND/OR EMPLOYEES, OTHER PARTICIPANTS, SPONSORING AGENCIES, AND IF APPLICABLE, OWNERS AND LESSORS OF PREMISES USED TO CONDUCT THE EVENT (“RELEASEES”),WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.I HAVE READ THIS COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, WAIVER AND RELEASE, I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND I SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT

Leather Card Case Workshop on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021, 10am-2pm

Come explore the art of leatherwork

In this in-person workshop, you’ll learn how to cut, glue, and sew a beautiful leather card case to keep for yourself or give to those you love!

Lead by Bay Area-based leather artisan Bea Amblard, owner of April in Paris. Bea is a master leather artisan having been trained at the prestigious Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris and furthering her craft at Hermes. After becoming a leather ambassador at Hermes and perfecting her craft for almost two decades, she decided to start her own label, April in Paris. Bea is very excited to share her knowledge of fine leather goods with you! 

All supplies will be included.

No experience necessary, a positive attitude encouraged, masks required. 

Due to current Covid-19 protocols, the workshop will take place outside and comply with local social distancing guidelines. Face masks are required to be worn during the workshop.
